October Series 2010
50% Cabernet Sauvignon, 35% Merlot, 15% Syrah
A return to the beauty of Bordeaux blending.
Tasting notes
The strength of Merlot fruit tangled with the size and structure of Cabernet Sauvignon brings synergy to this blend. The parts of this wine bring a complete range of enjoyment. The fruit of Merlot in the fore palate, enhanced by an olive essence of the Cabernet Sauvignon, all on a structure that shows soft fruit on round tannins. The toasty oak showed me some leather tones that caused a stir in the finish. Very nice integration of texture and fruit.
