Our current releases listed alphabetically. Yes, some of these look older - that's long barrel time and bottle aging before release!
This varietal is a bit of a show stopper. This is picked last every season. Feels like a fancy day in glass. Very much a stay home and lock the door wine.
The “Bullpen” seemed destined to come together as previous Via Vega Cab/ Merlot blends have and was enhanced with a kiss of Petite Sirah. A bit of attention to the firm yet supple mid palate weight of these wines express the importance of the quality and time in the barrel.
Estate Blend: 76% Zinfandel, 19% Grenache, 5% Petite Sirah
This Via Vega Cabernet Sauvignon shows a soft and rich style in the glass. Good weather at the end of the harvest season allowed a bit more time to leave the fruit out which enhanced flavor development.
This wine enjoyed 30 months in barrel with 25% new barrels from Hungary. The extracton from this vintage is a bit more complex, presenting a wine of more dramatic style.
This wine is a sister to our 2017 "La Perla”. This lot enjoyed an additional 6 months of oak aging for a total of 3 years.
The Pinot Noir slept in barrel a mere six months with 30% of the barrel lot in new French Oak. This enhanced the structure of the wine without masking the varietal fruit character.
Miss April is tickled pink with the release of our first Rosé from Via Vega Vineyard. The refreshing crispness and floral aromatics will entertain you and your guests. It’s like sitting behind home plate, watching the game courtside, orchestra seats at the theatre or riding in the bow of a boat.
This is Tempranillo is quite a contender for attention. A bit of a monster. Let this one breathe. This wine has two personalities, goes from monster to elegant, once it’s open you will see what I mean.
