Aglianico 2018 VIA VEGA
This wine is very elegant. Worlds apart from the Offshore Aglianico. 15 miles makes the difference growing this varietal with the 2018 Offshore version that grew in Templeton. We suggest opening both side by side :)
1) Forward fragrance in the nose is of tea and herbs
2) The middle palate is very pretty, pleasant acidity with texture and plum fruit with a leather nuance
3) This Aglianico finishes in a medium size with a comfortable palate and shows balance and length - tannins are soft with cocoa and cedar aromas
