Zinfandel 2011
Tasting notes
This wine got the nickname "Zin O Vine", due to the herd of Michelle's weed chomping sheep that cleared the ground beneath the vines during the 2011 growing season.
1) The Zinfandel presents itself with the classic fragrance and aromas of red candy and sweet flowers. It is bright to the palate and big in the raspberry fruityness. It shows a bit tight but opens nicely to the mid palate
2) The depth of fruit is a bit exciting as it warms because the fruit gets a bit more serious with a bit of tickling freshness.
3) As the wine finishes the fresh and developed fruit dance together which is appealing.
