This fruit came from my old stomping grounds in San Lucas a mere 32 miles north of Paso Robles. I got to make wines from this block for 16 vintages under the Lockwood Vyd flag. The warmer southern Monterey Co grows Sauvignon Blanc with plenty of character.

This is Tempranillo is quite a contender for attention. A bit of a monster. Let this one breathe. This wine has two personalities, goes from monster to elegant, once it’s open you will see what I mean.
