Tasting notes
This has been a commitment to barrel patience. But what a fine wine expression of Cabernet Sauvignon, one to note.
1) The nose is of toasty Toasty oak wrapped in fruit, Cabernet aromas very clean
2) The middle palate is where flavor and fragrance collide to a magnificent concentration that will tilt your hat. Rich fruit with a density worthy of note.
3) I am holding my glass as I rattle this last line but I am so pleased that this is for The Bullpen. The real beating of farming is the unpredictability of the weather. This is the first Cabernet Sauvignon released since the 2010 vintage. So those paying attention will understand that mother nature is sometimes stingy with her offerings but generous with those who patiently await her perfection.
